Load Balancer
A Load Balancer is a service that routes and distributes load between servers.
A Load Balancer is a server whose role is to regulate visitor requests between servers. Visitor traffic is routed according to server capacity, allowing a larger number of visitors to browse the website. The Load Balancer determines which server a visitor is directed to based on a predefined set of rules. When a server is overloaded, the Load Balancer stops sending visitors to it and routes them to another server. The advantage of a Load Balancer for the customer is that even if one server fails to respond while a visitor is browsing the website, the visitor will not notice, since the Load Balancer redirects the request to another server.
