1. Collection of Personal Information about DNS Cloud Customers

1.1 DNS Cloud will collect from the Customer personal information necessary for providing the Services, including the personal details and information required in the Order Form (such as the Customer's details, if it is not a corporation, and the details of its contact persons – which may include names, ID number and contact details such as addresses, phone numbers and email addresses), as well as any additional operational information required to provide the Services. DNS Cloud will collect additional information in any correspondence or contact with the Customer, including when the Customer contacts DNS Cloud customer service.

1.2 You are under no legal obligation to provide the personal details and information to DNS Cloud, but we will not be able to complete the engagement without receiving the required details.

1.3 DNS Cloud will collect information about the actions and instructions of the Customer, or anyone on its behalf, while providing the Services, including access to management or content-transfer interfaces, which may also include the end device's location and the IP address data used by the Customer, operating system type, end device type and more.

1.4 When you provide the personal details of a third party, including any contact person on behalf of the Customer, you declare that you have obtained their explicit and informed consent to provide their details to DNS Cloud, for the use of these details in accordance with this appendix.

1.5 DNS Cloud will also collect information when the Customer contacts support and when it uses tools based on artificial intelligence (chat assistant and support bot), including the content of the messages and requests the Customer enters in them.

2. DNS Cloud's Use of the Personal Information It Collects

DNS Cloud will use the personal information it collected as described above for the following purposes only –

2.1 To provide the Customer with the Services it ordered and to allow the Customer and its employees to contact DNS Cloud for the ongoing management of the Services, including customer service, handling malfunctions, complaints and any other request.

2.2 To improve DNS Cloud services and adapt them to the needs of its customers.

2.3 To send the Customer updates, notices and additional information related to the Services, as well as questionnaires, surveys, direct mail and marketing messages, as detailed in the body of the Agreement.

2.4 To enforce the Agreement.

2.5 To comply with any law and to assist any competent authority in any case in which DNS Cloud believes that cooperation with such authority is required by law or meets accepted legal standards.

2.6 To prevent fraud, misuse, infringement of proprietary rights, identity theft and other illegal activities.

2.7 To take any necessary action in the event of a dispute or legal proceeding of any kind between the Customer and DNS Cloud, or any other third party, in connection with the Services or the Agreement.

2.8 For any other purpose set out in the Agreement.

3. Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties

DNS Cloud will disclose information about the Customer to a third party only in the following cases, or subject to consent –

3.1 If DNS Cloud is presented with an order from a competent authority or court instructing it to disclose the information, or in any other case in which the law requires such disclosure. Unless there is a legal restriction preventing it, and where possible, DNS Cloud will inform the data subject of the demand.

3.2 When third parties provide DNS Cloud with services such as data processing, technology services and the like, through outsourcing. In this case such third parties will process the personal information for DNS Cloud only.

3.3 In the event of a dispute, claim, suit, demand or legal proceedings between a Customer, or anyone on its behalf, and DNS Cloud.

3.4 If DNS Cloud believes in good faith that disclosing the information is necessary to prevent serious harm to body or property.

3.5 If DNS Cloud organizes its activity within another legal framework, or if it merges with another entity or merges its activity with that of a third party – it will be entitled to transfer a copy of the personal information to the new entity, provided that this entity accepts the provisions of this appendix.

4. Retention of Information – DNS Cloud will retain the personal information for the term of the Agreement and thereafter, for as long as needed for its business purposes, including archiving and documentation. After that, personal information may be deleted or anonymized.

5. Information Security – DNS Cloud takes a variety of measures to secure the personal information stored in its systems, to reduce the risk of intrusion, unauthorized access, loss, deletion or erroneous or unauthorized modification of the information.
