• What is a radio server? What is it used for, and who needs one?
• Anyone who chooses to broadcast media over the Internet (such as audio or video files) to friends, acquaintances or anyone
• they wish must do so using a suitable media server that supports high-quality streaming in the formats
• of these files. A simple hosting server cannot support this kind of broadcasting, so as mentioned a dedicated server is required - a video server or a radio server. The ability to provide streaming is made possible by combining
• broadcasting technology with hardware characteristics and Internet connection characteristics.

*Note:

• In the Israeli market there are a number of "providers" offering hosting and operation of radio servers, the vast majority of which are "run" by inexperienced youngsters who claim to provide the necessary service and support while making many claims about the quality of their products.
• We urge all potential customers who contact us, including you, to carry out a thorough and careful check of who you are about to purchase from, because on the day you need proper support and an emergency response, there may be no one to talk to (and we have heard quite a few stories...).

Radio server package pricing is based on two main parameters:

1. Broadcast speed in KBPS
2. Maximum number of simultaneous online listeners
3. SSL SHOUTcast security certificate

So what does DNS CLOUD have to offer in this niche?

• We understand our customers' needs, and with that in mind we have built, on an especially powerful server with 256GB of RAM and 1GB of bandwidth, a range of winning packages tailored to our customers' needs (after all, there is no point paying for resources you don't use!).

• For radio servers, storage space is irrelevant, since the audio files are broadcast from the customer's own computer. But we at the servers think one step ahead, and give every radio server customer, as part of the package purchased, a 3GB hosting package with unlimited monthly traffic to host a website (after all, a radio station needs a website too, right?), with the ability to open mailboxes, databases and all the other features of our hosting packages without limits!

• *Payment is by secure online credit card or bank transfer only!
• ** Radio server access details will be sent immediately upon completing the order and payment, 24 hours a day!
